Five DGCA theory papers plus RTR(A).
Six stages, and the order matters as much as the content. Doing them in the wrong sequence is the most expensive mistake a candidate makes.

Your identity with the regulator. Nothing else in the process can be registered without it, so it goes first.

Do this early. A Class 2 is enough to start flying, but a commercial licence needs the Class 1, and it is far better to find out about a problem now than after you have paid for training.

The five DGCA theory papers plus RTR(A). This is the stage we teach, and the stage most candidates underestimate.

Handled by DGCA
Theory cleared, hours flown, skill test passed, licence issued by DGCA.
A commercial licence needs five DGCA theory papers plus the radio telephony licence. We teach all six, in the order that makes them easiest to hold on to.

Charts, flight planning, mass and balance, and radio navigation aids.

Atmosphere, wind, cloud, and the weather hazards that affect a flight.

ICAO annexes, Indian CARs, licensing rules and human factors.

Airframes, engines, systems, instruments and aerodynamics.

Type-specific theory for the aircraft you are endorsed on.

Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical), phraseology and procedures.
Each paper is marked out of 100 and passed at 70. There is no aggregate across papers: you clear them one at a time.
Three licence tracks, all taught against the DGCA papers you actually have to sit.
The full DGCA theory syllabus, all five papers plus RTR(A), taught end to end for the exams as they are actually set. This is what most people who contact us need.
Commercial Pilot LicenceATPLTheory preparation for the airline transport papers, for pilots who are flying and studying at the same time.
Airline Transport Pilot LicencePPLGround theory for a private licence. It is also the honest starting point if you are not yet sure you want to commit to a commercial course.
Private Pilot LicenceCPL ground classes, the full course. All DGCA theory papers, taught end to end.

Five theory papers (Air Navigation, Aviation Meteorology, Air Regulations, Technical General and Technical Specific) plus RTR(A), the Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) licence, which is examined separately.
You need 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised board. Candidates who completed 10+2 without those subjects can add them through an open school before applying.
Yes. The computer number is your identity with DGCA and is mandatory before you can register for any pilot licence examination or correspond with the regulator. You can start ground classes before it comes through.
DGCA does not require you to attend a ground school to appear for the theory papers. Ground classes exist because the papers are demanding, and structured teaching is what most candidates clear them on.
Get the Class 1 medical done early. A Class 2 is enough to begin flying training, but the Class 1 is what a commercial licence needs, and it is better to know about any issue before you commit money to the rest of the process.
