DGCA Air Regulations Classes in Ahmedabad
Do you know the rules you are operating under, and where to find the ones you have not memorised.
What the syllabus covers
- The Chicago Convention and the ICAO Annexes
- Annex 1: Personnel Licensing
- Annex 2: Rules of the Air
- Annex 6: Operation of Aircraft
- Annex 8: Airworthiness of Aircraft
- Annex 11: Air Traffic Services, and Annex 14: Aerodromes
- Annex 13: Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation
- The Aircraft Act and the Aircraft Rules, 1937
- Civil Aviation Requirements (CARs) and the AIP India
- Airspace classification, right of way and separation
- Documents to be carried, flight time and duty limitations
- Human performance and limitations
Where candidates lose marks
- It is the most memory-heavy paper and the one most often underestimated. Volume is the difficulty, not complexity.
- Candidates study ICAO thoroughly and Indian CARs lightly. The paper does not share that preference.
- Annex numbers and their subjects are free marks if learned as a set rather than encountered one at a time.
