One stage of the licence, done properly

A DGCA licence is a chain of separate authorities: a medical, a computer number, theory papers, flying hours, RTR(A). We teach one link in it. This page is for the organisations that hold the others.

Who we work with

Flying schools and FTOs

DGCA-approved flight training organisations in India, and academies abroad that Indian candidates convert from.

Our students arrive at a flying school with the theory papers behind them, which is the cheapest order to do it in. We brief candidates on what to ask an FTO before they pay a deposit.

DGCA medical examiners

DGCA-authorised Class 1 and Class 2 medical examination centres.

We tell candidates to clear the medical before they spend on anything else, and point them to authorised centres rather than to a general physician.

Simulator and RTR(A) practice providers

Procedure trainers, radio telephony practice, and type-specific familiarisation.

Ground theory and a headset are different skills. Candidates preparing for RTR(A) get extra practice time with these providers.

Career counsellors and education consultants

Advisers who meet aspiring pilots before the family has decided anything.

We would rather a counsellor send us a candidate who understands the cost and the timeline than one who was sold a dream. Refer with an honest brief and we will hold to it.

Schools and colleges

Higher secondary schools and colleges with students weighing aviation against other routes.

We run sessions on what a DGCA licence actually requires, Physics and Maths at 10+2, the computer number, the papers, the hours, with no admission pitch attached.

Accommodation near Ahmedabad

Hostels and paying-guest accommodation for out-of-state candidates.

A fair number of candidates come to Ahmedabad for a batch. Somewhere safe to stay for a few months is a practical part of getting them here.

What we commit to

Clear about our role

We teach the DGCA theory papers, and any material carrying our name describes exactly that.

Honest expectations

Every DGCA paper is cleared at 70% by the candidate. We prepare them thoroughly for it, and say so plainly to candidates and partners alike.

Fees stay published

What the course costs is on the fees page and is the same figure a partner's referral pays. There is no separate price for a walk-in.

The candidate hears the whole picture

Including when the honest answer is that another school, another city, or another career suits them better.

How it starts

If you are a student rather than an organisation, the pilot guide is the better place to begin.

Go to the pilot guide

  1. Tell us who you are

Organisation, where you are, and which stage of the licence you sit at. A phone call is enough to establish whether there is anything to work on.

  2. We agree what gets said

Exactly how each side describes the other, in writing, before anything is printed or posted. This is the part that goes wrong when it is skipped.

  3. Run it on real candidates

Start with the students actually in front of you this month rather than a launch. If it works for them, it will work at volume.

Tell us who you are and which stage you hold

Tell us where you have got to and we will tell you what comes next, and in what order.
